Directions for the Tea Towel that Mary showed everyone at the last BOM are as follows:
Cut novelty strip (width is up to you, 4 or 5" works best), press under 1/4" at top and bottom.
Cut accent strip into 3" squares (6 or 7 should go across the towel) Fold each square in half diagonally, press and fold diagonally again, creating prairie points, press.
Interlock the prairie points so the bottom of the points are about 2" apart and 3" from the bottom of the towel.  Baste in place along the top or use Elmer's School Glue.
Fold edges of novelty strip on each end to fit the width of towel. Place strip over prairie points covering about 1/2" and stitch around all four sides.

The website for the apron she did is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Alq0B2KZ-ME
It has two parts and both can be accessed from this site.

The 2014-15 BOM is underway. There is approximately 50 people signed up. Mary Hintzman did a demo on how to dress up a Tea Towel and use another Tea Towel to make an apron. Either one of these or both would make great hostess gifts, teacher, neighbor gifts.
Our goal is to have more demos as the program progresses. If anyone has an idea they would like to share, please feel free.

New Block of the Month
Starting the 2014-15 BOM this week. We have 50 kits and patterns spoken for at the present time. We will be happy to order more patterns and cut more kits for anyone that still wants to join in. Our pattern is very different from quilts the past two years.
